Mocha Recipes for Weight Loss - Chocolate Mocha Cake Recipe

Chocolate Mocha Cake Recipe - A moist cake made with Cosy Up Mocha.


Two cups of all-purpose flour 

Cosy Up Strong Mocha, 110g from the packet  

1/3 cup olive oil 

2 eggs 

The equivalent of one cup of buttermilk 

1/2 tsp. salt 

The equivalent of one teaspoon of baking powder 

Hot water for one cup 

Dark Chocolate Chips 30-50 gms


Cooking temperature should be set at 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C). Prepare two 9-inch cake pans with butter. 

Measure out things like flour and Cosy Up powder to make a recipe. Add Cosy Up Mocha powder, oil, eggs, buttermilk, baking powder, baking soda, dark chocolate chips and salt in a large mixing bowl. To a bowl, add boiling water and stir to combine. Mix for 2 minutes on medium speed until smooth; batter will be on the watery side. Add liquid to the pans. 

30–35 minutes in the oven, or until a wooden pick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let pans cool for 10 minutes, then turn out onto cooling racks to finish cooling. 

Apply Coffee Icing after the cake has cooled. (Optional)

Use a double boiler to melt some semisweet chocolate baking squares or chips after you've finished icing the cake. Chocolate may be drizzled over the whole cake or just around the exterior corners.
